I partially started the Part 2 Doc of understanding spyware. I was too tired to write the rest. I think I covered quite a good chunk of it in Part 1. I've been fixing and building alot of computers lately and also working. The stuff i've ran into lately has been crazy hard. I can fix computers perfectly when they fucntion like they should. The random errors that i get don't make sense. I'm a little upset with computers right now. I havn't been programming much of anything, but the other day i made a program that automatically clicked this link over and over again to make my friends profile web page get alot of hits. That was some good fun. i'm sure i'll use the code from it again. I archive everything i make.. I randomly made an archive folder when i installed my compiler. Best thing i ever did. Works going good, i'm meeting a whole bunch of cool friends. sadly everyones into drugs and alcohol, thats how it seems everyone is lately. It's a big downer to know that. Can't anyone just chill and hang out and have a good time without the consumption of alcohol or smoke. But they're not doing that at work, so i guess thats cool. When all their cash is going towards drugs and stuff i'll be buying something cool like a new guitar amp or something. With my first paycheck i think i'm either going to buy a new video card and half life 2 or save it and buy an awesome guitar amp. Music Stuff is cool. i don't play as much anymore cuz of work but i still try to work it in. My manager at work is big into metal, maybe i'll jam with him when i get a better setup. alright thats enough. this was todays Blog. not dev news. sorry. -Justin 6/29/04 12:34AM So today an idea Sparked! The other day i was hardcore attacked by some spyware off a random google site looking for metalworking tools. So I took the site's address and blocked it in my IE settings. The I realized that other people might want to block that page too. and i got to thinkin! yes thinkin, Why not a program that gets a whole bunch of bad sites from a updated database and then adds them to your currently blocked sites list. If this idea progresses it will show up in the Projects Section and a news page will be added for it. As for Remote Computer Help, it's losing my interest. It's kindof a stupid idea mainly because most people have 56k and it would be like impossible to work over it. but we'll see what happens. -Love Always Justin! 6/10/04 7:23PM Holy crap, i'm awesome. I just reprogrammed my IR remote that i bought to control winamp. Go on ebay and search Remote. and you'll see. it's made by creative. It's awesome. i can remotely do what ever i could possibly want from at least 25 feet away. I made a program to capture all the raw output of the 24 keys, now all i have to do is get a checking method in place and figure out what i want to do.
